Sauvignon Blanc

The source of this wine is the 2 acres of Sauvignon Blanc vines that sit in the North valley of the property.  This is the coldest area and will often experience nighttime Summer temperatures in the mid 30’s. The soil is a river bottom soil atop limestone boulders about 4 feet below the surface.

2014 Tasting Notes

Vibrant pale yellow, with delightful aromas and flavors of fresh melon, pear,  tangerine, and lemongrass.  With hints of lightly toasted oak and minerality, the wine is full-bodied and rich in texture.  The fruit is well-integrated with crisp acids, and continues to evolve once in the glass.
